Happy Shelter Skopje- Help the animals

The reason behind the 5000 Euros request for our fundraising campaign is that our animal shelter has more than 50 dogs, in Skopje there's an estimated 5000 stray dogs, imagine the whole country.. Our shelter has most of its adopters from the UK and Germany. However, we home animals in other countries as well not just the UK or Germany. Our intention is to home them all over. The people of N. Macedonia rarely show interest in adopting one of our dogs, they mostly call to tell us that there's a certain dog in a certain place.

Now the reason behind our fundraising campaign is to prevent us from saying no to future callers. We say no because every dog that's in our shelter needs to be vaccinated, spayed, and chipped so that if a new dog enters they don't get infected, or pregnant. However, our shelter is based 95% on our own funds, and we have around 10 donations made which help in their own way. Here's what we plan to do with the collected 5000 Euros:

-Purchasing food for the animals

-Vaccinating incoming animals and anti-tick treatments

-Shopping for leashes, collars, and harnesses to train them to walk on a leash so that the future adopters don't have an issue with walking.

-Getting some toys for them

-For sheets, blankets, and towels for warm sleeping during cold nights

-Upgrading their kennels

-Cleaning supplies for around the shelter

-Carriers and transporters

-Food and water bowls

-Flea and tick treatments

-Treats for training

-Purchasing the necessary items from a project that an architect has voluntarily made for us which include new doghouses, a playing park within the shelter, upgrade of the kennels, upgrade of the office where dog food, medications, and leashes are stored. The items needed from this project will cost around 2500 Euros.
