There's an unbelievable amount of stray dogs all throughout Bulgaria and the government has given the "ok" to kill them. We've taken in as many as we can hold, but we need more materials (fence, wood, nails, insulation, etc.) to expand our housing area to allow room for more dogs. We work with other organizations to help find the dogs new homes both inside and outside of Bulgaria. Donations will help provide shelter, food, flea treatments, parasite pills, and medical care for all of the dogs.

Thank you, Cassie, for all you do to care for homeless dogs in Bulgaria. Just in case anyone can see this post, PLEASE try to help rescue a very sweet little black and white female dog and her 3 puppies that are of weaning age at Han Dalboka Restaurant on Highway 21, outside of Tutrakan to the east, between Tutrakan and Tarnovtsi. We found them across the parking lot from the restaurant at the lower water fountain. She was extremely hungry and very stressed due to lack of food and care, while nursing these babies.
