Happy christmas Peter and Carin

Hello all,

For those who know my parents, you know they mean no harm and only have the best intentions for everyone. They do there best to get by, but had a rough year with my mum battling cancer, not being able to work for a year. My dad, doing his best in his job at the supermarket which he has had for the past 40 years.

Now we hear of scams, but never really think it could be us. This time though, it was my parents. Someone, pretending to be me, with a new phone number, needing 1400 euro for some urgent transfer. Of course, my parents fell for it. Transferred the money. Gone. In Holland, there is little you can do in this case, no chance for money back.

Of course, I want to give them the 1400 euro, but i know they would not accept that easy. This is why i ask for your help. It's christmas, and I am sure we can all spare some euro's. I feel so bad for them, already just getting by with what they have. They deserve a lot more.

So would you please help us this christmas, and send them a gift? A gift of love, this time, in money. I know they would love you all for it. I will match the remaining amount. I just want them to be happy this christmas.
