"Hanoi and around with Thanh'' is kindly asking for your helps to survive the extremely tough Corona virus crisis!

I am Thanh, the founder of Hanoi and around with Thanh; an eco, sustainable tourism focusing on Hanoi and the Northern areas. My parents named me Thanh because they hoped that my life could be easy and peaceful, but I always asked my guests to call me Blue - the sky's color. "The sky has no limit, and there is only one way up".

My "traveling with responsibilities" business was founded thanks to my determination to become our country's ambassador. I have dedicated my time and efforts endlessly to help foreign visitors immerse themselves in the vivid beauty of Vietnam's landscapes, cultures and tradition. When they booked for my authentic tours and activities, they are brought to off-the-beaten path places and given opportunities to contribute to local communities. For example, they have helped young generation improve their English skills, gain more confidence by joining voluntary English teaching and clean-up trips. In addition, my business focuses strongly on raising awareness toward environmental protection and sustainable development. Crafty artisans and local inhabitants have been empowered by participating in unforgettable "with-local" experiences. Thanks to their precious willingness to share Vietnamese beauties with the guests, our customers have learnt cooking with Vietnamese mothers in their homes, or making knife with the 4th generation of a knife making family, or joining exclusive tours to craft villages which enlighten them about how things are made. I have been very proud of my achievements.

Until the beginning of March 2020, "Hanoi and around with Thanh'' was doing fine. In previous years, March - April - May would be our busy months since the weather was not too hot yet. Unfortunately I have received consecutive booking cancellations in March, April and May because of Vietnamese government’s strict ''country lockdown'' policies. The experts said that it might take 6 months or even a year for our tourism industry to get recovered fully. Therefore I am sincerely asking you to help me keep my business survive until the situation gets better. I am truly aware of the fact that people around the world have suffered economical crisis right now.
