On September 1st I will be running the City to Sea Marathon in Devon, a 26.6 mile route out from Exeter and following the South West Coast path to Torquay (So. Many. HILLS!)
To make the inevitable pain all worth it I am running to raise money for Open Hearts Open Borders.
OHOB is an incredible organisation that works tirelessly to collect, sort and ship aid donations to refugees and asylum seekers in France and Greece. They also work locally in Plymouth to support new refugee and asylum seeker arrivals by providing essential household items.
The refugee crisis may no longer be front page news, but it is far from over and cuts to public spending mean that the work of civil society is more important than ever.
Please donate if you can!
Thank you xxx
