Hands Helping Heroes

Fundraiser for American Legion of Pennsyvania's program "Homes for Homeless Veterans".  This progam has been in effect for twenty six years and currently has four homes and apartments estabolished in Pittsburg, Ephrata, Harrisburg, and Philadelphia, PA. These homes provide housing for homeless veterans while they go to college, get job training and enter the workforce to become tax paying citizens in society. The VA refers qaulified and motivated Veterans to this program. The average stay is 1 1/2-2yrs per veteran. The homes are turn key, everything is provided to start thier new lives. This is a costly program that is noble and runs entirely on donations, so it always in need of finacial help.
