Campaign Story
PLEASE HELP! CHILDREN ARE STARVING, HOMELESS and OUT of SCHOOL; post hurricane MATTHEW!
(Before we spend our dollars to eat our 3rd meal.....please consider giving it up to help these workers and their children! God will bless you!)
Our campaign is to collect funds to help construction workers who are members of FENATCO whose houses have been destroyed by hurricane Matthew.
Our Action Plan:
Rebuild 300 houses of our workers homes destroyed
Thousands of people in the South are living in a critical condition without clean drinking water which increase the risk to catch Cholera; 2,000 deaths have already been counted. This is why we think it is mandatory that we help find clean water in the these most isolated part of the South in areas not accessible for motor vehicles to reach. We intend to build 6 water treatment stations, in six different areas. Kids, youngsters and adults are exposed to the risk of contamination to all kind of diseases.
Matthew also has left behind him, more than 400 orphans 22 of which are deceased construction workers affiliates kids, and the important part of the story, is that the kids have no school to go to, as since their school was destroyed, and further more, no one to pay their tuition now, since their parents are deceased.. We plan also to pay for their tuition for the rest of the academic year.
There is a lot more to do in Haiti; post hurricane Matthew, but we just endorse these three actions, right now.
