Handful of wood

A Handful of Wood.

This is, of course, a euphemism, my dreams go higher than that. But, that is, also, exactly how I'm starting out.

For some time now, I know what my dream is. I've always been that child who took things apart for fun, putting them back together. I've always been that child who liked to make stuff. All kinds of stuff. When I was younger, mostly valuable to me and my parents. Later in life, valuable to my friends. At this point, I wish I start creating something valuable to the world.

A bit later than most people do, for various reasons, I got into engineering college and while studying, I am working in order to cover those expenses. The rest of my time, I do the same thing I did when I was a child. Make stuff.

Just this time, on a more serious level.

What I am hoping to do with this campaign is to fullfil my dream and start my own workshop and business. To be completely honest, I feel embarrassed asking for support, I am not much of a person who does that in life. But, with time, I realized that it might not be possible otherwise.

So - here I am. If this campaign is making anyone uncomfortable, I apologize.

If you are wondering what I am going to do with the money collected, here is a breakdown. At this point, I am working with a handful of tools and handful of wooden boards I purchased. For a more serious workshop I would have to get additional tools:

- a bigger space (cause I am currently in my own apartment)

- a workbench

- a circular saw

- a sander

- a drill press

- wood clamps

- a power drill

- ideally, a small lathe, but not necessary

- supplies of wood
