Our Mission The Haiti Project is an Outreach Ministry of the Episcopal Dioceses of Milwaukee. We work in partnership with others from all walks of life who share the belief that education, clean water, access to medicine, and compassion are basic human necessities.
Ending poverty in Haiti is multifaceted, and we take our role of stewardship seriously. That’s why more than 90% of our expenses are used for programs that directly affect the people living in Haiti - especially the small and mountainous community of Jeannette. 100% of our funding comes from private sources, including individuals, churches, corporations and grants. Our collective goal is to promote self-sufficiency and independence.
I am one of many parishioners that journey to Haiti. This cost money and each person that volunteers to help in Jeannette must raise funds for their travel and in country stay. That being said I am requesting donations for this purpose. All money raised above the travel costs will be donated to the school lunch program. This is for some the only meal they get in a days’ time. Please help support me in my endeavors to help these wonderful people.
For all that donate $10 or more will receive a personal letter from me as I will share my trip with you. All that donate $25 or more will get the letter and a 2oz bottle of pure Haitian Vanilla.
Please help fund my trip, as there is still a lot of work to be done to repair the damages sustained by hurricane Sandy last year.
