Haiti mission trip

(Thank you so much to those who have already donated!! It means so much! I've decided to leave it open for donations as any overage will go to some of the other people who are fundraising as well!)

This summer I have the opportunity to go on a mission trip with my Christ Fellowship young adult family. We will be going to Port-au-Prince, Haiti to serve at the New Life Children’s Home. This facility was established in 1977 as a home for abandoned, handicapped and orphaned children, many of which suffered from severe malnutrition and disease. It currently houses over 100 children, including 20 with special needs. The home provides much needed medical attention, schooling and safety to all of the kids. This will be my first mission trip. I am beyond excited and overwhelmed with joy knowing that I will have the opportunity to have a positive influence on these children’s lives. I feel God has put me on this trip for a reason and can’t wait to see what he will do through me. I will need to raise $1,200 for the trip. This includes my flight, transportation and accommodations for the week. Any donation will be a tremendous help!
