Habitat Global Village Trip

I am writing to seek an opportunity from you to partially sponsor me for a Global Village work trip to El Salvador from May 4^th to May 12^th through Habitat for Humanity. This trip will be a commitment to helping low-income families realize their dreams of owning an adequate home.  

After being struck by recent natural disasters, the housing need increased rapidly in El Salvador, both in urban and rural areas. Since 1992, Habitat for Humanity El Salvador has built more than 5,000 houses, providing simple, decent and affordable shelter for more than 25,000 Salvadorans. The earthquake-resistant Habitat houses are made of concrete blocks and structural steel reinforcement.

Global Village volunteers may work in all stages of construction, from digging foundations to painting the houses.Habitat Global Village Trips provide an opportunity for members to learn and contribute while expanding their knowledge of unfamiliar cultures and developing their spiritual identity. Your generous sponsorship will help transforms lives: both for myself as a volunteer who will work alongside Habitat homeowners and more importantly for partner families.

I will be receiving partial scholarship for my photography through Habitat for Humanity, and I am trying to raise an additional 500$ to help cover for the rest of the trip. In order to bridge this gap ideal pledge amounts could be anywhere from $25 and up, but any amount contributed will also be greatly appreciated. Sponsors will receive a print of their favorite photograph from this Global Village Trip. On this website I have attached some of my photography work from India for your reference.
