H.E.L.P. Home Eletronic-Learning Project

I am planning to use my basement and my time to help the disadvantaged in my area. I have already filled my living room. With your help I am ready and able to spend two days a week. My doors are already open every Saturday and Sunday, from 10am - 9pm to help us all learn. I am currently taking classes to better my knowledge of the people and the world around me.

The things that I am currently helping people with are a 60yo. Who wants the computer skills to E-Mail his grandkids and also Skype with them. A 50yo. Who is learning astronomy after a life time of looking up and not knowing what is really up there. And a few guys that could benefit by working together at the same time, in the same room. Everyone knows that learning with others is the optimum way to stay focused.

The things that I could offer unlimited help with are, Job search tips, Resume writing, Basic computer skills, Enrollment into online classes and a place to help study. The classes out there that are offered for free are from Harvard, MIT and many others. People don’t know about this. Any and all online resources will not be spared.

Everyone is accepted, no one will be left out and there is no fee for this. I believe that Everyone should have equal access to education.  

What I need is the equipment to start a real Home Electronic-Learning Project to empower the many more that don’t have access to it.

 The Knowledge is out there.
