GWU Medical Mission to Haiti

Hi There!!

I have been accepted to participate in a medical mission to Haiti through a project ran in cooperation with The George Washington University and Project Medishare (http://www.projectmedishare.org), a Haitian based Medical NGO that provides medical services.  I will be traveling with 22 individuals from The George Washington University including Physicians, Physician Assistants, Medical Students, Nurse Practitioners, Nurses, and fellow nursing students as well. We will spend 6 days in the region of Thomonde, setting up mobile clinics each day in rural villages throughout the region and providing medical services.

This is a fantastic opportunity and I hope to be fortunate enough to take similar missions throughout my nursing career. Service to others has always been a part of my life and always will be. I hope you will support me in my first medical mission, as I am currently in nursing school and the expense of the trip is more than I am able to handle.
