Less Fortunate Boy Needs Funds For Cricket Tour To Sri Lanka

A less fortunate boy by the name of Guillaume Jansen from Strand was chosen to go with the schools' (Strand High School) cricket team to Sri Lanka in June (16th to 25th) holidays this year.

His parents aren't by the means to pay for his trip hence why we ask for your assistance to make this possible for Guillaume.

He comes from a background that a lot of people would define as poverty stricken. By this alone according to a lot of people he's not suppose to make it or become someone in life.

But very determined by his goals, he overcame a lot of obstacles that was thrown his way especially in the are of finances.

This is his last year on school and he has proven himself in sports like rugby and cricket from Grade 8 already. He was the only one chosen in the school for Boland cricket and has played a few tournaments for Boland.

This is his dream not only to travel and play internationally but also to play cricket for his country one day. He is a hard worker and student and put everything in his academics just like his puts in his sports his playing at school.
