Early afternoon on 3rd November 2012, my Uncle John passed away. This is a very sad time for me and my family but the Smart's are staying strong :)
Those of you who know us Smart's you'll know that we're very stubborn and if John had his way, we'd all be taking a trip to The Emirates to spread his ashes over the pitch in a few weeks time.
However, in loving memory of my Uncle, I am going to be
growing a beard, starting from tomorrow morning until Christmas Eve. So in 6 weeks time I'll definitely look like a child snatcher!
I would like to ask everyone if they would be willing to make a donation, however big or small during this 6 week period.
All money raised will contribute towards a large memorial stone in tribute to John. This will be placed in the Arsenal ground. With your help, John will hold a permanent place in Arsenal’s history.
