Greg’s Operation and Medical expenses

Hi everyone.

My friend Greg has been diagnosed with kidney failure. He had been suffering from back pain, had numerous dizzy spells and went in for an MRI on the 2nd of February 2017.

It revealed kidney stones as big as a balloon and he had emergency surgery that night. As you can imagine this has been quite a shock for Greg, who is a active person, never smoked or drink in his life. He have had his hands full with medical test, doctors and has no medical aid to cover for all of it. He does not know what the total cost of treatment will be or how long he will be out of work, but we felt we needed to start something to help alleviate any financial stress so he can focus on treatment and healing, because Greg needs a second operation, which cannot afford and the second operation will cost at least R70 000.

He does not have any family, was raised by adopted parents, who both passed away years ago and has no other siblings.
