Green Vehicle Fund

Hello,

 My name is Timothy Green. I live in Nashville, TN, with my mother and sister. I am typing this on behalf of my mother, who is blind.

 Allow me to give some background. In 2009 my mom lost her eyesight from diabetic retinopothy, which causes the retinas in your eyes to detach. She is legally blind, and can only see blurs of shapes. Since losing her eyesight, my older brother, who lives on the other side of town, has been helping us by driving her to appointments, to the store, etc. Unfortunately, he is no longer able to do this, and so we need some help. I am 16, and have a driver's permit. We need a car so that we can still get to the store, get to appointments, etc. There is no public transportation within walking distance, so we are stuck at home, and it is extremely hard to get places.

 We aren't asking for a 2014 BMW. We just need something reliable that is good on gas mileage.
