I will participate in Green Power Hike 2019 as a team of 4, which will be held in Hong Kong.
Green Power Hike is a large-scale annual hiking event, which takes place on Hong Kong Trail every January or February, attracting over 3,000 participants each year. Since the launch in 1994, the Hike has attracted more than 63,000 participants.
To deliver a green hiking experience for our participants, we are committed to integrate environmental elements into the event. We also encourage participants to take part in green practices together , such as “Take Your Litter Home”, waste separation and recycling, and reducing the use of resources. By providing information on the ecology of Hong Kong Trail to our participants, we wish to inspire the public to learn and appreciate Hong Kong’s natural beauty.
The funds raised through the event will be used in Green Power’s works in environmental education, which has always been our top priority.
