Greek Paradressage Riders dream PARIS 2024

This is a fundraiser to help the ONLY Greek paradressage riders from Crete, attain their dream to compete in the 2024 Paraolympic Games. The 23 yr old Dimitra-Eleni Pantechaki and 25 yr old Mihail Kalarakis have not let their disabilities stand in the way of their goals, to reach for the stars and represent their country at an international level.

Both riders are being trained and coached by Marianna Grammatikaki, a very accomplished equestrian, who despite her humble beginnings in Heraklion Crete has climbed the ladder to the top ranks of her sport, and has now dedicated her life and expertise in founding the first riding academy in Crete. It is here that Marianna has made it possible to take two riders with 67% disability to an international level of competition, and BOTH riders competed for the first time in the history of greek eqestrian sport in the WORLD EQUESTRIAN GAMES 2022 in Denmark.

Due to difficult financial times, in Greece and globally, it has been challenging to raise the funds needed for the upkeep of their horses and training, as well as the expenses of international travel and competition.

Their next goal is Paraolympics in PARIS 2024, a goal that demands a lot of effort and financial support in training, traveling, getting proper equipment etc

This is their life's dream of competing in the 2024 Paraolympics, representing their beloved country and inspiring others with disabilities or other restrictions to chase their dreams!
