I know this will sound rather weird and probably beggerish but hey, I do not have anything to loose and we do only live once so why the heck not.

This is my little story for which I'd be really thankful if you went through it.

I'm a 19 year old student from Croatia currently studying Computer Science and along with that, I'm working at a Digital Marketing/Mobile app development company. I'm really satisfied both with the university and the place I work at.

Now, if you combine the two things I spend all my days on, you'll notice that they require the use of a computer all the time, therefore, I'm on my laptop all the time, except when I'm sleeping, logically.

The thing I want is to be even more productive, to have a laptop which I can take somewhere without it dying ( the current one I have is a Toshiba from 2006 with a dead battery and a gigabyte of ram ), now everyone will say that I should get a job and buy myself a laptop instead of begging for it. Well, erm.. I'm currently an intern and I'll be an intern for the next 6 months for sure. My paycheck is about $500 a month ( which is a regular paycheck in Croatia ). A Macbook, which is told to be the best laptop for students/developers and similar costs about $1500 here and there is no way I'm able to afford one. Why? Because out of the $500 I earn each month, 200-250$ goes on travel expenses to the uni/work and the rest goes to food and everything what is necessary on a daily basis.

The only thing I need is a tool ( read; laptop ). Not for gaming or any cause which is, I'd say, unimportant, but to be much better at solving various tasks regarding work and uni.

I'm sorry if my English has been hard to understand in some parts of this text but I hope that you've at least enjoyed reading the story. I'd like to kindly ask you if there would be any possibility at helping a young student with a bright future in front of himself by providing him with something he'll use on a daily basis and something which will make his work look much better and faster.

Thank you for reading, once again.
Kind regards and greetings from Croatia!
