Great Family Needs Down Payment For Home

My husband and I have three wonderful boys.  As a dedicated mother, I have spent most of my life raising our boys.  My husband is a hard working man, but his income alone can not sustain a large family.  We have put over $60,000 into a land contract that turned out to be a but because the owner had unforseen legal problems and needed to foreclose on his property.  Our land contract (we just found out) was never legal because of the owner still owed on a mortgage.  We are not blaming anyone, but now we are in need of a home within 4 or 5 months.  I am a full-time WMU student (jr. working on my Family Studies degree) and my husband works full-time for a communications corp (he is also a ft college student).  We have spent the last 5 years being house poor due to a $1000 land contract payment.  This has caused a negative impact on our credit report and savings account.  I would have worked, but everytime I tried it seemed my entire paycheck went into daycare expenses. We are not a family that begs for help, but we really need to find a family home.  We are worried that we are going to have a foreclosure sign tacked to the door and nowhere to go.  We need a sizable down payment because our credit is less than perfect.  We are not notifying friends or family of this page because of pride.  Please consider helping and know that you are appreciated and your money will only help a family that is desperately trying to get ahead.  Thank you for your time!
