Grateful Awakening Mission

At Grateful Awakening, we believe that every person carries the potential for incredible creative expression which can influence an entire generation. Unfortunately, those who struggle to fulfill the basic necessities of life are unable to spend time, nor money, on the artistic ventures which deeply enrich the quality of all our lives.

We strive to provide basic necessities such as socks, fresh fruits and vegetables, dental hygiene kits, and blankets, to the needy populations of the Bay Area. We then take outreach to the next level by providing the art supplies, encouragement, and even a venue where these artists can display their work.

We also provide free marketing services, supplies, resume building tutorials, and plan full gallery shows to committed artists who would like to build some financial stability for themselves. Basic necessities are not enough to get homeless, previously incarcerated, and/or mentally ill artists back on their feet.

The resources and encouragement we provide build a stable foundation preparing the artist for a self-sustainable future. We accept tax-deductible donations of many sorts. Please contact us if you would like to get involved, make a donation, or recommend an artist who may need our help.
