Grant My Fiancée Her Dream Wedding

Let’s be honest, every lady has a dream wedding she hopes to have, right? Likewise for my fiancée. I would climb mountains for her to make her happy. I would do anything to see that beautiful smile on her face forever.

We are a couple in our late 20s and early 30s, struggling with the ever increasing standard of living in Singapore, trying to keep our online business afloat and exhausting ourselves with overtime at our full time jobs. We got engaged in July 2018 and will have our wedding two months from now, in March 2019. Everything was going well with wedding preparations and financial planning for our future.

Sadly, along the way, we were faced with many tests. My beloved fiancée had to undergo a C-Section surgery to remove a tumour the size of a cantaloupe, in her ovary. We were unexpectedly burdened by the medical costs on top of the wedding instalments and business upkeep costs. This made a huge impact on our finances, given the short period of time we wanted to get married. I felt like a disappointment to her. If I could not even provide her the wedding she dreamed of to make her happy, how can I make her happy through our lives together?

Now that we are two months away from our wedding, after working an average of more than 220 hours a month at my full time job, I’m still short of $8,220 for the wedding. I’m not expecting sympathy or any of that sort, but I hope that someone can help me in any way. This may seem ridiculous to some of you, but trust me when I say that you’ll do anything when it comes to the happiness of your loved ones. Thank you in advance and may God bless you all.

A Disappointment

P.S. I decided not to disclose our photos, my jobs or my salary for the sole fact that I do not want to disappoint or embarrass my fiancée any further. She does not know that I am doing this, nor is she forcing me to make her dream wedding come true. She is one of the most understanding and kind souls that God has created, and I’m lucky that she chose me.
