Hi I'm Paula. My cousin's daughter, the lovely Grandy Rose has been diagnosed with Kawasaki Disease, UTI and Pneumonia. A little background, Grandy's father is working as a construction worker and earns no more than $10 per day, while her mother (my cousin) is a stay-at-home mom. They don't have any health insurance since my cousin's partner is a minimum wage earner who doesn't have any extra after they buy their immediate needs.
Last week, my family members from the province said that Grandy's been rushed to a private hospital at our province. They were declined at the local government hospital and another private hospital because they saw the rashes on Grandy's skin and the doctors told them she needs to be in an isolated room. Soon after, tests were made and the family found out that she has Kawasaki Disease.
It is not known where her KD came from, but we are 100% sure that Grandy needs medical attention ASAP. They did 2D echo to check her heart and the doctor's advised the family that she needs shots at about Php16k each, which is about $1,600 in total. We are not sure yet on how much the other expenses would be (medicines and other hospital expenses), but the priority is to collect the amount she need for those shots. The doctor said that we have 10 days to get the money. Grandy has those 10 days before KD leave permanent damage to her heart.

The information I have about Grandy are from my aunt and cousins from the province, but I'll try to answer as much as I can.
She's a very energetic and bright little girl who needs everyone's help no matter how small it is. Please also pray for her and our family.
