Help Grandview Theatre PLAY ON in Brantford with our premiere production of Romeo & Juliet.

This will be the first ever production produced in Brantford, by Brantfordians, that pays trained theatre artists from Brantford according to industry standards. Professional live theatre has been ranked the 3rd highest gap in our community's cultural scene (Brantford-Brant Cultural Audience Development Program). This will be the first ever production to fill that gap.

This bold new production will take Shakespeare’s classic story and transform it into a contemporary experience that is relevant to and reflective of the present-day people of Brantford. Not only will this a one-of-a-kind cultural experience engage the Brantford community, we are also partnering with the Downtown Brantford BIA to attract tourists to local businesses.

Our community is progressing and the artistic opportunities in our community need to progress with it. By donating to our PLAY ON campaign you are not only supporting cultural progress for artists in Brantford, you would be helping the entire community by transforming Branford into a unique cultural destination.

PLUS, donating to our campaign might win you the chance to see the Toronto Raptors play on! How can you win? For every $25.00 that you donate between February 15 and March 15, you get a chance to win two tickets to a Toronto Raptors game (in section 122 row 12, courtesy of our presenting sponsor Hudson Restoration) & a $200 gift card to The Keg Steakhouse on Monday March 30, 2020. Prize is valued at over $700!

For every $25.00 you donate, your name gets entered into the draw once. Example: If you donate $25.00 your name gets entered into the draw once, if you donate $50 your name gets entered into the draw twice, if you donate $100.00 your name gets entered into the draw 4 times.

Winner will be drawn live on our social media on Sunday March 16!

Any individual who donates $100 or more will get their name recognized on our website and in the play program. Any individual who donates $500 or more will also get 2 tickets to our VIP opening night performance and reception.
