This is quite a long story but the photo below is my grandmother named Angelita Baylon who just turned 80 this year-- sick, poor, and helpless. It was couple months ago since the pandemic struck worldwide and the Philippines was just one of the countries who were badly affected. With the business and economy being halted and heaps of employees were furloughed-- there's no other way we can do but to stay home. My granny was taken to the hospital 2 weeks before the Northern Philippines lockdown; however, her children's financial state is not enough and definitely not enough to be admitted and confined to the hospital. As one of her concerned grandchild, I asked my mom to take her to the hospital just for check up and the doctor had prescribed her medicines to take. To cut the story short, we can't support and finance her medicinal needs; until, one time her stomach and situation gets worse. I saw that day the tears in her eyes, her voice suddenly changed-- I literally can't look at her on our video call because she looks like decaying and dying. I tried to initiate her children to take her to the hospital but nobody did ever listen to me. Eventually, I asked for my cousins help as we are still entwined with how nice and loving our granny was. My mom sent her financial help on our behalf and some of our cousins also reached out and extended their help. Consequently, that small amount of money that we pitched in becomes a huge help to take my granny to the hospital. After couple of hours in the hospital, one of my cousins video called me and showed our granny-- I'm gonna say that she looks way better and her face seemed to turn back to life, but she still sick of course. Now, we know the reason why can't she eat well and that frequent stomach ache was "electrolyte imbalance" or there could be something more. Having said that, I am writing this because I want t take a step on how to prolong my granny's life. She's one of the people who gives me strength and inspiration. She's one of my sources of happiness, and prolly one of the reasons why am I working so hard-- to help and provide for her needs.

I am James Deogracias and I am standing and fighting for my granny. She needs your financial donations and she is scheduled to have a blood transfusion on June 4th but she needs to wait until the hospital could find a perfect match for her blood type which is A+. We all are experiencing this pandemic and unpredictable crisis, I am here knocking on your doors to help me fund my granny's hospitalization and her medicine needs. I want let my granny feel that there's someone on her behalf who's making a big leap to help her. Please help us fund my granny.

Thank you all!

To God be all the glory!
