My husbands grandmother had a brain anurism on Sunday, July 19th at about 3:30 am (this is when I was called from work anyhow to get to the hospital.) She was flown to Peoria by helicopter (which alone cost $100,000) at about 4am and they did emergency brain surgery during which her anurism burst again causing even more complications. She is to this day in a coma and having multiple seizures, she has had 3 operations already this week as well. Even though all hope seems to be lost however, the doctors are talking as if she will pull through. They speak of many, many months moving to up to 4 different hospitals for rehabilitation before she can go home. But the word we are all holding on to is "home".

Grandma is a very loved woman. She is a caregiver, as well as a loving friend and family member. She has always been there for the people she loves, and there are a lot of them. We've never started a fundraiser before but we love her and grandpa very much, please help us fund her surgeries. Even $0.50 would help and be very appreciated.

Any donation $10 or over gets a bracelet made by me, any donation $20 or over gets a set of bracelet, necklace, and earrings all made my me as well. Just send me an email at [email protected] with your information and I will get it to you asap.Thank you so very much for taking the time to read this. God bless.

Update posted by Sorcia Campbell at 05:55 am

At the hospital now, grandma opened her eyes but quickly fell back asleep. They say she is doing well in rehab, but she is still not verbal at all and stares blankly. There is more rehab to come but things are looking up. :) Thank you for taking the time
