Graduating from college

My name is Tara Mead and I am a Psychology and Sociology student at CU Boulder. I have been trying to get my degree since 2009 but financial and family issues have set me back. My sophomore year of college my mom was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer and passed away at the beginning of my spring semester. I struggled with this emotionally and with that I struggled with my classes and staying focused enough to succeed. As time went on I began to find myself again and pushed harder and harder to get my college career back on track. After this semester I will be 3 classes away from graduating with my double major but I now face financial difficulties. My goal is to take these classes this summer and graduate by August 2014. I am ready to begin my career, and am just a few steps away from doing so. I am the first and only person in my family to go to college and I know that this is as much my dream as that of my family.

I know times are tight for everyone but I truly appreciate any help and know that every little bit will help me achieve my dreams.
