Graceshuttle – über den Wolken – Dein Pilot

There is a word that says, today is the first day of the rest of your life. And this is of some special significance to me. After a heavy rollercoaster ride in the fast part of my life, including all the mess that they call nowadays ADHS. The passed IQ Test 144 made the thing only worse, because being a child that grew up with my mother and my granny who thought me much about life and without father though, I did not fear to challenge the authority of teachers. Especially after they tried to cover up a case of child molesting. That blew my school career up even before it really started.

I decided in order to live my dream of a researcher and work in healthcare, I do not need to wait until I can go to university, so I started learning and studying and working as self employed consultant. Around the reunion of Germany, I got in touch with people who invited me to take part in a huge project in east Germany. Eventually that went bankrupt and I spend some time as homeless in my car.

Fast forwarding to the nearer past, I could recover and worked also internationally in building laboratories and hospitals for non profit organisations. In 2007 I met my wife in Armenia and until we could manage the whole visa stuff, a former business partner if me somehow managed to empty my store and my bank account and once more I had to start from scratch. In 2009, due to persistent stomach-ache, I was diagnosed with several precancerous hyperplasia, suggesting a hemi-colectomy, that is a partial removal of the descending part of the colon. Due to my intimate work in the area of metabolism and malignancies, I refused and instead decided to improve my lifestyle. I quit smoking and went to a mostly vegetarian, low carb diet. Eventually, I could restore my health, though not my marriage that had suffered from all he obstacles and we were divorced in 2014. I dropped in another black hole. The credits belong to my mother who turned 80 this year that I could recover once more without asking any support from the governmental welfare system, even though she lives on a small pension and still has to work in order to pay her monthly bills.

In biology I learned the real concept of evolution and that it is not about competition though rather cooperation. It is true that little baby trees compete, but once one outgrew the others, competition stops and from now one that one who won the race for the best sunny place and grew large enough for a privileged environment, he dedicates the most to the surrounding environment. Similar to ants and bees with their hive organisation that would be literally impossible if they would struggle and compete for resources like we humans currently do. I believe it is time to change that. Whenever luck comes to you, you have to share it and it will double. That's the difference to any materialistic viewpoint. I'm not into politics, though one thing is for sure: Neither Mr. Trump nor anyone else can change the way the planet goes without our help. Don't even expect that. The question is, do we wish to continue to live accumulating money in the account or do we wish to spread happiness and joy? Psychological studies have clearly proven that one tiny smile you put on somebody's face produces a cascade of many others. Happy people are willing to share. Each of you and me can make a huger difference in society than politicians.

Having worked my past life mainly dealing with diseases and therapies for patients, I finally came to the conclusion, that you can probably can do even more for people by creating them a moment of bliss, of happiness. Have you ever seen a child sitting in the chair of a little single prop aircraft? The engine hauls, slowly the tires start moving and the speed increases until that magical moment when the plane lifts off... The broad smile of the child if you feel like a feather in the air and the ground with all its related problems become smaller and smaller... in Germany, there is even a song called 'ueber den Wolken' - above the clouds.

That is my project: Becoming a commercial pilot. A critical analysis of the required investment shows that nearly 80% of the total costs are caused by the expenses for aircraft rental in order of hour building. It makes financially sense to acquire my own airplane already at the earliest possible stage prior regular training because that is avoiding paying twice for the same thing when I have to purchase the plane later anyway. I'm in touch with some veterans and retired pilots / instructors so as soon as I have the aircraft, I can start training.

The aircraft I am basing my calculation on is a single prop Cessna 150 that requires some restoration which I can do with the help of some befriended professionals.

Economic market analyses: The industry is that rapid growing that Boing and Airbus orders for the next years are outnumbering the amount of available pilots that much that at a worldwide scale very soon airlines will request more pilots. Now I'm not that much interested in getting into the left seat of a 737, though rather I want to work as instructor and pilot, giving especially children the opportunity to experience how beautiful our Mother Earth looks like from above. This is not just a business, this is also my call to make my dream from childhood come true whilst at the same moment being a role model and showing others that you can succeed with your dreams even after several drawbacks.

I don't have a family besides my mom and hence no current responsibilities for my own children. I am living in a small 40qm flat and drive a 23 years old Audi on LPG. I don't need much and I want to donate part of my life time for non-profit flights for people who usually cannot afford their own private pilot. Further plans include doing a transatlantic trip as part of a international peace-project with the 50yrs old single prop I can acquire now cheap for restoration. I am planning to document all my further steps on YouTube due to the transparency I owe you as my supporters. If you are interested in a long term collaboration or wish to have your own privat pilot for a given amount of time, we can discuss the conditions. As soon as I hold a valid commercial license, I am ready to fly you wherever you wish based on the actual costs for gas/fees etc. Due to the variables, it is required to discuss that at an individual agreement though. It is important to point out that I'm not allowed by law to transport passengers with the intent of profit making unless I hold a commercial license. At the stage of private pilot I can only take friends or family without receiving and compensation or payment. In order to acquire this CPL, I need in total 250 hrs and that equals the price I am paying for my own aircraft. That's why time also matters

I am also open for any collaboration, for example putting your adverts on the plane or anything similar. I've been cheated so many times that it actually took me quite a while to take my heart and give it a try here. It would actually mean a lot to me showing my mother that I'm still able to achieve my goals.
