Go Juno and Dayna – We need $8,034.00 (R120,000.00) to get our young women to World’s

LET'S SHOW THE WORLD'S CHEER TEAMS WHAT OUR SOUTH AFRICAN WOMEN ARE MADE OF!

Representing South Africa at the 2019 World’s Cheer Tournament, Orlando, USA – All Girls SA Team

Juno D'Alessandro and Dayna Woolls, in Matric and Grade 10 respectively, have been working towards realising a big dream over the past two years - and they are almost there!

These competitors, and friends, from De La Salle Holy Cross College in Johannesburg, South Africa have been identified through a series of rigorous evaluations and trials, as two of the youngest of 20 women around the country to participate as a member of Team South Africa in the international US All Star Federation World Championships in 2019 at Disney’s ESPN Wide World of Sports, Orlando, USA in 2019.

In June 2017 they achieved their Provincial Colours and a mere 6 months later, in Dec 2017, their National (SAMCA) Colours.

In July of 2018, both were selected to participate internationally with the All-Girl SA team at Worlds. The athletes will receive their Protea colours in March and compete from the 27-29 April 2019 against the best teams from around the world in the USA.

"As non-earning students, we are looking for assistance from individuals, friends or anyone who believes in the sporting talent of our country and can support us in achieving our dream.

Cheerleading is no longer about pom-poms and short skirts… it has become a demanding and highly athletic display of skill and strength, which deserves recognition. We are of the new generation of strong women in South Africa and proud to be Ambassadors for our country. Help us show the world that the youth of South Africa are a force to be reckoned with!"

The girls need R 60,000.00 each to pay for flights and accommodation... but any amount no matter how small will be gratefully received.
