Got Love? Giving Love is Free… Getting there isn’t!

Hi Everyone!

This fall I will be traveling to Cusco, Peru to volunteer through an organization called IVHQ (International Volunteer HQ). The aim of the childcare project is for volunteers to provide individual attention and assistance to babies through to teenagers from diverse backgrounds. Many children at the placements I will be working with do not receive the level of affection and education that they deserve. Volunteers therefore play an important role in working alongside local staff to improve the educational, emotional,and hygienic conditions of the children. My objective is to simply provide lots of love and to make a positive contribution and meaningful impact to their community.

Dreams are universal. Opportunity is not. By donating as little as $25, you can help children and families around the world create opportunity for themselves and their communities. It has always been my passion to help those in need or less fortunate. I have set the goal for this campaign at $3500, based on program fees and travel expenses. I will be leaving for Peru on October 4th. Any and all additional funds raised will go directly to support the individuals within this community.

I can't save the world; however, if I can make a child smile-- I'll consider this trip a great success.
