Gose’s Skate Trip To Zambia

Hello everyone, am gose gerald the founder of uganda skateboard society and I have been skateboarding for the past 15yrs though we have been a few people were skateboarding in the country and thats why I came up with an idea of creating an organization strictly to promote the game with in youth and kids who do love it but can't access it cos its rare and too expensive to obtain.

I loved skating on very skateparks cos I used to watch the likes of Shaun white, tony hawk etc and I was really inspired and we tried contacting some construction skate companies which were volunteering in building free skateparks with in developing country but we weren't get any feedback from most of them then we thought of constructing one by ourselves and went on youtube learnt a few basics and thats how we came up with our skatepark.

Now next month on 20th wonders and the world together with skate better world are going to construct Zambia's first ever skatepark in a town called mongu and I applied to them so that I go and volunteer with the construction cos I feel like I want to take skatepark construction as my other career cos africa got not more than 10 skateparks and i know that I can get more experience and skills once I work on the same project with proffessional skatepark Constructors so thats why am requesting for you guys out there and support my trip.

The $850 is going to cover my visa, covid19 certificate while am going and coming back, yellow, air ticket. For the accommodation and food its going to be covered by skate better world team.
