Gonzo Has Heartworms!

Gonzo is a 4 year old, rambonctious male husky/malamute mix.  He came into my life at the age of 2, but with the energy of an elder.  At first he was a bit skittish of stairs, narrow hallways, and especially moving objects, but with love and respect we were able to move past these obstacles together.  He has grown into the most "mistical" loving dog I have ever had the pleasure of owning.  A few months ago we started to notice some changes in his behavior so we took him to the vet.  Turns out he has heartworms! Hearing this absolutly broke my heart (and everyones who knows him).  During Austin's South by Southwest 2013 our friends band Horse Thief threw a benifit show for him, raising $250.  Sadly, with this and donations from family members it is not enough.  The total amount of bills will be over $700.  Gonzo deserves a chance, he has changed me and any other person who has come into contact with him.  He just loves.  I have 2 jobs, I work hard, but unfortunetly it isn't enough.  I am asking, please for you to help me.  Anything counts, thank you so much for your time.
