Going to make it

Over the last 2 years I’ve watched Robert go from working a full time job slowly deteriorate due to the treatments he has been receiving for his worsening seizure disorder. Between medical procedures and increased medications, Robert’s ability to function has diminished substantially. I’ve known Robert since college and have watched him deal with his seizures but recently the severity level has increased.

No longer able to work, medical bills and housing costs have diminished any savings. Still burdened with extensive medical expenses, housing costs and bills, Robert now is faced with losing his home due to lack of income. He has looked for state and other advocates to intervene, none to date, have been successful in keeping the banks at bay.

While he still awaits additional medical treatments, he has suffered the loss of his wife and father within the past year. His father passed in April at the age of 91 while his wife left due to the lack of income. Both of these losses have been emotionally devastating to Robert as he struggles with his health and the fear of homelessness.

While depressed, Robert tries to remain positive, believing that all will end up alright in the long run. He has been a great friend and loving husband. Always willing to help out a friend and can only hope and pray that his goodwill will be returned during his time of need.
