Going home and starting over

Dear friends,

My name is Jonathan Oblander, and for the last three years I have been living abroad. I once had a vision to live and work in Europe, to be content with a fulfilling career, and perhaps share my happiness with someone special. But the past several months have been very hard to make this a reality, and each day I am longing to return back to what I once knew. The distance across the ocean is also very hard for me, and I miss my family and friends very much. I have also received news that I no longer can work here legally, so I have no form of employment.

So with that, it is time for me to come home. But now the question is how to make that happen.

I feel ashamed having to ask for money, and I know that there are a lot of others out there who have more urgent needs. But I don't know where else to turn. I am hoping to collect funds so that I can fly home and have some reserves to live off of while I search for a new job. I have a few ideas on where I could end up, but in order to go any further I have to be in the US so that I can attend job interviews. Any money received will go towards my expenses to start a new life.

I would be very grateful for any assistance. Please help me get home.
