Hello my name is Ken and I am 45 and I am going back to school because I just can't find work with the skills I currently posses. In 2010 I lost my home to foreclosure like so many have. I was then fortunate to have my parents let me move back in with them. Then in 2012 I was let go from my families business after my Father sold it and the new owners no longer needed me. I had worked in that particular business for over 30 years I started when I was 9 working for my Grandmother. I found a few short term jobs but nothing ever lasted. I then had to move out of my parents and was homeless for a number of months. I've tried to get assistance from the county the state federal whatever and nothing ever panned out. Some days I don't know where my next meal is going to come from. Finally I decided to look into going back to school so I enrolled in ITT Tech and gratefully I won't have to worry about the cost of school thanks to scholarships and Pell grants. But I really need financial assistance with transportation, food and living expenses. I am trying to ask a consevative amount as this sort of thing is very hard for me to do to begin with. I live over 30 miles away from school and with any help I might get. I am hoping to either move to the town school is in or get cheap transportation. I am very excited to get started as the subject matter is fascinating to me. I am just so stressed out on the issues at hand. So thank you for reading I appreciate any help you might be willing to provide.   Ken
