#REDforED Sunnyside Employee Relief Fund

As the#REDforED liasons in our districts we are concerned about those of our staff who have

been, or soon will be, hurt by the majority decision of our educators to continue fighting

for a real and sustainable budget plan by walking out FOR our students and fellow employees.

We ask that you help us to help them survive this difficult time. Many of our employees

have been unable to join us in this movement because they did not have any paid time off.

Now, with the walkout extending into, and quite possibly through, next week - the district

will be forced (financially) to close and all employees will be off without pay, regardless

of their choice in the matter. Donations will be allocated to individuals on a need by need

basis. If it turns out we do not need the entire amount received, we will donate the

remainder to the generous Sunnyside Foundation Grant fund which provides emergency relief

for individual students in our district. Thank you for any support you can offer.
