God Given Gifts

Hi! My name is Carter Crabb. I have a special desire that I'd like to share with you. At camp this summer I felt God gave me a desire to want to do something special for children in the children's hospital. You see, I had just been in the children's hospital a few months before camp this summer with a collapsed lung. I was not seriously sick like some of those children and was thankful for that, and thankful for the visitors that I had to come see me. I got to thinking about what could I give to the children there, and my best answer would be to give them the best gift that God gave me and that was His Word.

My family had an extra special blessing given to us last Christmas and so, Lord willing, we'd like to go to the children's hospital  the methodist home and to northside high on Christmas Day and deliver "Christmas in a Bag" to the children who can't be at home this Christmas. We have had many God Given Gifts given to us the past year and we feel that this is one way that we can give back.  I have a specific dollar amount that I feel God gave me to raise in order to buy bibles, and that was $900. I'd like to put the Bibles, a Christmas card and some small items in a nice bag to pass out to the children. I'm making T-shirts, painting paintings, selling things and doing this fundraiser to raise the money I'll need to purchase the Bibles.
