My name is Ronald Reyes, I am professional longboarder proud to have acomplished a 4 times Latin American Championship. I am member of Venezuela’s National Surfing Team which is a non goverment entity. However, due to political and social economic crisis it has been impossible to atrack sponsors. I have lived all my life by the sea, in a humble fishing village called Naiguatá. My love and passion for the sport has allowed me to build a professional carreer and a reputation to move a head in life. I have always dreamed about representing my country into the WSL (World Surfing League) . . . . .
commited to my dream, I am ready to compete at the highest level and show the world that passion, following one's dreams, along a clear plan and focused objective can overcome adversity.
I have had the opportunity to travel and compete, representing my country when ever I can, where ever me and my sponsors can get to with my sponsors. Achieving important goals and getting multiple championships in both, National and International, competitions and categories: Caribbean Champion (‘98, ‘99), 2 times Pan American Champion (’95, ’11) , and 4 times Latin American Longboard Champion (’09, ’11, ’13, ’14). # 4

Because of my country’s actual situation and the general supressing restrictions we Venezuelans are living in a political, social and economical way, each year that passes it is more difficult to find the way to continue competing in worldclass competitions like the WSL. This is why I call for your help.
Venezuela is going through a historical political and social-economic crisis this adversity has forced me to ask for your support not only to allow myself to become an example of how to move a head in life through following ones dream along honest hard work, but also to use the opportunity to raise awarness at the World Tour stage to call for humanitarian aid for food and medice shortages for my small cost line village, "Care" . A porcentage of all donations will be given to my community's childs who are currently victims of food and medical shortages.

This year my dream has come true and I am invited to be part of the WSL LongBoard Tour, starting with the first event, this April 13 to 18 , 2017 in Portugal, and going all the way through 2017 until the last event, taking place in Japan around October.
I am doing everything I can to collect the necessary fundings and your help would be vital for me to fulfill my dream in representation of my country and all of it’s people. My first goal is to cover the necessary expenses for the first event in Lisbon, Portugal, wish equal an amount of 5.000$ U.S. Dollars. And in order to complete the entire World Tour I would need an estimated amount of 35.000$ U.S. Dollars.
