Meet our family's nanny, we lovingly call her Mama Glo. For many many years now, she has been my parent's loyal confidant and reliable support for household needs. She also assisted my parents with child care for all of us 5 siblings since birth and until now, she would take care of our kids from time to time.

Last Tuesday, she was brought by our dad to our family neurologist as she has complained about very strong headache or migraine for almost 2 weeks straight. In her CT scan, she was found to have brain bleed or subdural hematoma and needed to be operated on immediately. That same afternoon, she was confined to the hospital.

The surgery was scheduled last Thursday and it was a success. A few hours after surgery at the recovery room, she woke up and was stabilized before she was brought back to the ward for further post-op observations and medication.

Today, her memory is slowly coming back. She is slowly progressing with food intake and motor skills but all are expected and normal observations as far as her doctors confirmed. We are hoping to bring her home soon and now will be our turn to take care of her.

The past few days have been quite a surprise. We were not prepared for this kind of event emotionally, physically and financially. We hope your kind and generous hearts help us fund her medical needs as well as her post-op recovery.
