Global Volunteer Network! Volunteer fundraising!

My name is Jessica Watts. Recently I applied to be part of a
programme called global volunteer network (GVN) This programme allows you to
volunteer abroad to help with a number of things, from supporting less economically
developed countries with environment issues, to helping less privileged and also deprived children and communities from all around the world.

As a volunteer for GVN I want to fundraise as much as possible! All money raised will go towards the GVN foundation. My goal is to help GVN as a whole rather than focusing on one particular cause as I believe all of the causes GVN support are all equally worthy. 

A BIT ABOUT GVN: 

GVN was founded by 'Colin Salisbury' after he had spent time volunteering in West Africa. The network was launched in December 2000, and on April 14th of 2011 GVN was registered as a non-profit charity, based in New Zealand. Follow the link bellow for more of colins story

The global volunteer foundation, work with a number of local communities in different countries from around the world. They believe that local communities are in the best position to determine their need, and GVN provide volunteers all year round to help these communities achieve their goals. Volunteers are presented with the opportunity to go to countries such as: Uganda, Kenya, Vietnam, Romania, CostaRica, Peru and Thailand; these are some of the countries that GVN volunteers can work with.

Since 2002 GVN have had over 16,000 volunteers, and this number of volunteers continues to grow all the time.
