Glitter and Trauma

We are a passionate collabertaive team of students at Royal Holloway University of London trying to raise funds in order for the final film to live up to it's full potenial. We are filming a 10 minute short film highlighting events taken place in an alternative Britain which is an extremist captialist society. The money raised will go towards production values such as locations, costumes and props. 

The film explores a city decimated by class war. A poor drug addict becomes under the control, and enemy of the state. Set in a futuristic Britain controlled by a class war, a rough looking drug addict, Drenge, finds himself under control of the rich. Drenge is offered the possible opportunity by wealthy character Helm to escape the hellish world that he is stuck in. In order to do so Drenge is to undergo a series of drug transfusions for Helm. With Dredge unaware of the huge risks involved of this process, will he accept this offer? Will he come out on top if he goes through with it and escape the depressing place he has to call home? Or is there just no hope for Drenge and others like him within the community? We hope the film delivers to the expectations we have, and we hope to send it into film festivals in order for our work to reach further than our univeristy. Any donation whether big or small will help our talented group deliver a high quality peice of work.
