Glenn & Lita’s Hospital Bills for Covid-19

My name is Lecille, my husband Glesce and I have recently recovered from Covid-19. While we were fighting our own battle Glesce's parents Lita and Glenn Barcelona who are in their 70's were infected and needed to be admitted to hospital and both were diagnosed as Severe Category. The treatment they received there saved their lives, we are so grateful to the hospital staff for the care they received, however now in the aftermath, the hospital bills are so much higher than we anticipated. Even with their health fund, personal loans, and generous donations we still have not been able to meet the full cost of the treatment provided. The immediate need is for PHP 783,917.85 is owing for Glen and PHP 372,102.68 for Lita. We have taken out a loan for the remainder of the amount PHP 609,996.33.

Their hospital bills after health fund deductions initially totaled to Php 2.8M for both of them.

We wanted to update you on how Lita and Glenn are;

Glenn was already out of the hospital, recuperating and about to finish his strict quarantine.

Lita is still in her recuperating period. We are not yet back to our parent's hometown and now staying in family friend's extra house here in the city where they were admitted.
