Glenda’s Gastric Band

I've struggled all my life with my weight and it's stopped me finding love and having children so far.   My mum passed away at 46, she was overweight like me and her heart gave out.  I'm turning 40 on the 10th of March 2015 and getting worried that if I don't lose this weight once and for all I may not reach my 50th. 

Over the years I've tried everything possible and although I can lose weight I never keep it off which is why I've been fighting a battle for over 8 years now to get a gastric band through the nhs.  This has proved fruitless.

Financially I would never get a loan for surgery due to my credit history and saving alone would take me many years to get the funds I need.

I know it's a big ask and some may think it's an undeserving cause however I really believe this surgery will change my life and help me fulfill my dream of becoming a mum finally.
