Our local recycling project has been so successful that we are now faced with our next big challenge: Mountains of bottles piling up in our recycling storage.

Keep us going!

We now need a injection of funds to take the next step.

We need funds to purchase (i) a glass crushing to enable us to transform recycled glass into useful raw materials that can be reused; and (ii) a glass melting machine with glass blowing utilities, as well as training to provide young people new opportunities for employment by producing and selling objects from recycled glass. These will not only help the community realise the economic and social value of their recycling efforts, but help us to empty our storage, so we can keep recycling!

Revenues from selling our glass will fund the geographic expansion of our recycling efforts to keep the momentum of recycling practices and spead the news to surrounding communities
