Who We Are & What We Do

My name is Darren Iannotti and I am a  fan of the awesome video game music that helped build the atmosphere of the games we love to play. Original video game music isn't really publicized and is harder to get your hands on which is why I created the Brand Goodknight Productions - to create awesome video game music covers for fans. Right now I’m looking to expand our catalog of music.

Goodknight Productions comprises of freelance musicians and composers from all over the world to create top quality, fully mastered tracks. Goodknight Productions has released full length tribute albums for Mario Brothers, Donkey Kong Country, The Legend of Zelda, Metroid, Banjo Kazooie, Resident Evil, Street Fighter, Final Fantasy and Sonic the Hedgehog. Why Where On GoGet Funding

Goodknight Productions uses two distinct funding platforms. Some of you would have ome here from Patreon. Through Patreon we will be doing a full lenth feature album dedicated to a game, character or series. These two playfroms are differnt but more suitable for what we will be doing.

On GoGet Funding we are going to create albums of individual track requests from supporters in your style of choice (rock, dance, hiphop, metal, dubstep, acoustic, electronic, direct emulation, etc or left up to the composer).

Why We Need Your Support

I need the support I can get from GoGet Funding to continue to cover the costs of producing these albums. The costs include fees to produce the artwork for the album, hiring the freelancers to re-create the tracks, getting the tracks mastered so the tracks have a better sound quality. After that, the album needs to be licensed so the appropraite royalties cam be paid, and set up for distribution to public outlets like ITunes, Spotify & Google Play. After funding the current catalog of albums myself, it has become too expensive for me to continue alone. Im looking to create a library of awesome albums dedicated to game music & I need your support to get more music out there. The dream is for Goodknight Productions to be recognised as the go-to provider for fans to get their hands on tribute music from all the games they love to play.

Whats In It For You

Goodknight Productions has a continiously growing and extensive catolog of video game music that you can get your hands on. I am happy to share these with the fans and use your contribituions to make even more of these accessable down the line. For a higher contribution we can take a request of any track that this project is based on and do in your style of choice (rock, dance, hip hip, emulation etc) or have it left up to the composer.

I will also give credit where credit is due - When the albums we create go to the online stores like Itunes, for the funders who help contribute a track, your name will appear alongside Goodknight Productions as a co producer.

Please Note;

Please note that that the cost for making a track from scratch requires alot more time and effort and so is alot more expensive. To get around this issue so that supporters won't be paying alot more for their track, - we'll be working with pre-existing "midi files" to recreate your track as these are alot easier for the freelancers to work with. If you can find a midi file for us to use through a websearch than that would be perfect. I am happy to look for you if you can give me the details, so feel free to ask me and ill see if I can find something. Here's my email;

In general finding something from an older game console will be much easier to find. But in the one in a million event that I think someone is prepared to request a track from scratch, I will keep the option open.
