Hello! I'm Marjorie Enriquez, an office employee, wife and a mother of one.. I have been diagnosed with ASD ( Atrial Septal Defect) when I was still young. This is a hole in the wall that separates the top two chambers of the heart. This defect allows oxygen-rich blood to leak into the oxygen-poor blood chambers in the heart. Since my ASD isn't yet treated, it leads to many heart problems such as abnormal heart rhythm and frequent palpitations, difficulty in breathing and even collapsing due to lack of oxygen. These symptoms keep us worrying as it develops high pulmonary pressure and increased risk of stroke. The last 2d echo result was not that good. We found out that there is a heart enlargement already and if not treated in two to three years, it will cause serious complications resulting to heart failure.

Because of this my cardiologist advised to undergo open heart surgery which would cost a lot. So we've come up with fund raising activities to help finance my operation.

Currently we are selling tshirts for a cause and the proceeds will go to my heart savings but this is not enough.. We are planning to do more fund raiser to help us finance the medical expenses, and a GoFund account would give us a big help, so here we are :) Right now we're very thankful for reading my story and hope you could help us at any way you want. God bless!
