My friend Danny Edwards and I will be celebrating our May 1st birthday on coming Saturday, May 7th. We have decided that for those who were planning on giving us birthday gifts, instead, we would rather collect money and donate it to a good cause. We would like to support a cause in Congo DRC that fights for the education of children.
Because of my work that can be found on www.upturngenerations.today, I have connections with the Dutch Embassy in DRC who now have connected us to a reliable cause:
ONG Lisana Ya Bana (LYB). This is a non-profit who give supports to street kids, kids affected by war, kids of which parents are blind and unable to provide proper care, kids affected by HIV/AIDS. The non-profit give access to clean water, school, food, clothes and enable medical care.
If you like this initiative, please do join us and let us all do some good.

Update posted by Francis Mukwayanzo at 01:39 pmDuring our birthday celebration, we've collected the amount of EUR 693,50 in cash as a donation. Others have confirmed to give their contribution online. We are half way to the EUR 1500!
