Campaign Story
As most of you know, hunger is one of the greatest problem for many people from South African during the Covid-19 lockdown and the difficulties involved with getting food to millions of South Africans in need are tremendous.
Needless to say, the demand for food in the communities is increasing more and more as the lockdown goes on.
We would like to raise funds to help buying food parcels for the Kurland community in Plettenberg Bay.
The “Giving is the Best Therapy” campaign is intended to help Plett Rotary Spec. Fund who has set up a food delivery scheme to help the most vulnerable households in the community. Food boxes will be distributed by local volunteers and the Firefighters.
Raised funds will be transferred directly to Plett Rotary Spec. Fund bank account.
Each Food Box contains food supply for a family supposing to last approx. one week.
