Giving hope to the hopeless

My name is Marcia Kunene, I live in Unit6 Eqhgumeni Mpumalanga Hammarsdale South Africa.

I would like to raise money to build a place called home for my Mother Nelly Nxumalo whose house was demolished by our local councilor who promised to build her a new house two years ago.

The reason her house was demolished was that the house was falling apart as the walls were full of cracks and there was a fear that the house was on a verge to collapse and pose a danger to her.

My mother had completely lost her eyesight in 2008 due to illness and she is now dependent on the disability grant that she spends a portion of it to pay rent and the rest of it to cover her basic needs.

At the present moment, my mother is living in a rented room which is not in a good state as shown in the video.

Your donations will make a huge difference to her life as she will finally restore her dignity of having a decent place to call her home. Our wish is to build a two bedroom house with one bathroom/toilet, a kitchen and a lounge suite. All rooms must have ceiling, kitchen fitted with built-in cupboards, a sink and a stove, bedrooms to be fitted with with wardrobes and floors tiled, electricity and or solar system to be fitted, all plumbing to be fitted, bugler guards must also be fitted.
